University Program

In the 2021-2022 academic year CFHE offered scholarships to 51 university student. Because each University in Haiti is designed for very specific areas of study, our secondary school graduates must pre-select their major prior to enrolling in university.

92% of our Secondary school students go on to University or Technical school programs. After graduating from secondary school, our university students go on to attend colleges in the capital city of Port-au-Prince. Many of our secondary school graduates go on to technical and vocational training at schools across Haiti. Upon receiving their degrees, The Crosby Fund then assists these graduates in securing internships and jobs across Haiti.

Each year CFHE offers a college-preparatory seminar that helps students choose a career path that best fits their interests and aptitudes.

Common university student majors are: medicine, agronomy, education, computer science, nursing, civil engineering, electrical engineering, diplomacy, business, accounting and pharmacology. A university scholarship is $3,000 a year. This covers the student’s tuition, books and a living expense stipend.
